Technical Sales Administrator
We are currently looking for a Sales Administrator for a precision engineering company in Hailsham. This role acts as the communication interface between customers, agents, distributors, and the company. It covers all processes related to order and quotation management, as well as handling enquiries and complaints.
Job Purpose
The main purpose of this role is to identify, qualify, and convert new potential OEMs. You will manage all processes related to order and quotation management, enquiries, and complaints.
Key Accountabilities
As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Managing quotations, receipt of RFQs, and tender platform and timeline coordination. This includes collaborating with technical sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
Following up on quotations with customers and distributors.
Entering orders into MS AX and making changes based on manufacturing or customer requirements.
Conducting regular and systematic telephone follow-ups with customers and maintaining records using the CRM system.
Performing post-sale follow-up and general office administration duties.
Acting as a member and backup in the Sales Administration/Marketing Team. Essential Skills & Experience

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong telephone etiquette.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Attention to detail and commitment to timely and quality fulfilment.
An interest in the features and construction of the product portfolio.
Proficiency in English. Desirable Skills & Experience
It would be beneficial if you have:
Experience working in multicultural environments.
Competency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email).
Export control experience.
An additional language (Mandarin preferred). Qualifications
A degree is preferred but not essential. Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week with a 12 pm Friday finish.
Please note: the successful candidate will need to drive due to the location.
