SUPERVISION
Reports to and works under the administrative supervision of the UK Country Manager.
Summary
This role offers the opportunity to be part of one of the largest money transfer companies. A successful candidate will be an all-rounder when it comes to their ability to contribute in all areas of sales, will have a great “hands-on” attitude, be positive and sociable, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a strong coach / mentor / trainer. Sales Manager - North will meet and exceed all company and individual goals in line with the company’s policies, procedures, and values.
Essential Duties
* Develop and execute strategic plans to expand Ria's agent network in the UK North Region.
* Identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities.
* Be accountable for achieving monthly and yearly sales targets for Agent Recruitment, New Business Transactions and overall Regional Transaction and Revenue targets.
* Directly report to the UK Country Manager regularly to ensure they are thoroughly and correctly briefed on all aspects of your work.
* Spend the majority of your time out of the office developing different territories with the UK North Region while supporting the sales reps in their day-to-day sales activities.
* Lead and support sales account managers in the UK North Region with follow-up responsibilities.
* Be accountable for achieving the monthly new business portfolio AAP ratio of 80% or above.
* Identify market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities to stay ahead in the industry.
* Collaborate with Sales Manager South and Agent Support & Revenue Manager to ensure forecasted sales objectives are met within each sales area and the UK North Region.
* Generate leads through cold calling, follow up on existing leads, train agents and offer ongoing support where necessary.
* Encourage a positive and inspiring attitude while leading by example with best practices for the assigned team.
* Assist the sales team in identifying and targeting areas with high potential for recruitment to increase their success rate.
* Collaborate with various departments to stay updated on promotions, market, and organizational changes.
* Ensure all agents are trained and activated within specified timeframe and install Ria branding materials according to guidelines.
* Ensure that all new agents are constantly followed up by sales representatives while providing excellent customer care service.
* Promote and develop successful, long-term relationships with agents in the UK North Region.
* Ensure all sales receive proper training and comply with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
* Create targets, KPIs and sales strategy roadmaps for individual team members.
* Support the Agent Support and Revenue department with forecasting, planning and development of the regions while providing regular market feedback.
* Attend relevant marketing promotional events.
* Organise regular Sales Blitz and Orange days.

Ria Money Transfer offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated pay for this role ranges from (£60,000 to £65,000). Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
