Executive Search is a fast-growing division across the business globally, aimed at driving client stakeholder relationships at an executive level, offering a new level of executive search service to existing RPO clients and capturing new business in high-growth, highly active companies across the world that need a business partner over just CVs. We differentiate our offering by delivering broader business solutions to special situations such as IPO readiness, turnaround, market entry and portfolio management. We continue to develop technology, data capabilities and collaborations with global professional services firms to offer hard-pressed executives a longer-term partnership approach to the challenges that keep them up at night and get us in on the conversation early.
The Role
We are seeking a strategically literate executive search professional with a track record of developing business stakeholder relationships at an exec and board level with an old-fashioned commitment to quality search execution.
Reporting to the global head in Dubai, the role will be to focus on UK and Europe winning mandates with active mid to large-cap businesses on a growth trajectory, working side by side with clients to deliver exec search services mindful of their bigger picture needs. The role will involve:
Sector Focus: We are keen to target active mid to large caps on a growth trajectory, across sectors. This is likely mean working through PE portfolio management/ financial sponsors working across sectors, but may also be through business owners, family groups or individual networks.
Working with RPO: Work with RPO account managers, delivering regular strategic insights presentations to clients, offering support, and advice and ultimately ensuring that we capture executive search mandates with RPO clients.
Strategic Partnerships: Develop strategic and referral partnerships in region where lacking, with firms such as turnaround/strategy consulting, corporate finance and alike.
Driving Search Standards: Learn and bring new best practices to a team determined to do the search right.
Requirements:
This is a pivotal stage of growth in UK & Europe for the search team. The right hire now means we can grow more quickly, and the potential for internal growth in this role means that we are not looking for a bum on a seat, but we have a rather nice seat and are looking for a perfect appointment.
* Will have operated at a Director or Practice Lead level for at least 2 years, likely 5+. A “heads up” individual who will be able to read the market around them and evolve their practice.
* We are looking for evidence of genuine executive search practices, not contingent professionals who have managed to charge clients a retainer.
* Will be able to engage with senior stakeholders at their level beyond the procedural. Will take an interest in the world around them.
* We will be able to provide consistent high profitability, both winning and executing mandates.
* Will have a generalist sector expertise with a strong preference for those who work through private equity companies on their portfolio businesses.
