Support Workers We are looking for someone to join the team of committed, reliable and motivated individuals with a bubbly, outgoing character to provide support for a young adult man who lives at home with his family. The client has learning and physical disabilities and would like people to help and support him being involved in day to day activities and therapies. The things he likes to do include music, singing, cooking & walking. He requires assistance with personal care, medication and nutrition to maintain his safety and wellbeing. Previous experience working within care and with behaviours that challenge is essential, but full training and support will also be given. We are looking to develop this role within the team for the right person, further details available at interview. You will also be required to write detailed notes on a day to day basis. Hours of work: There are various shifts available are from 8.00am until 10.00pm, seven days a week, all year round, with the possibility of night shifts by arrangement. These can be discussed in more detail at interview. Rate of pay • £16.00 per hour weekdays • £18.00 per hour weekend & Bank Holidays Applicants must have a full driving licence and will be expected to drive the client’s vehicle. No smoking or vaping is allowed in the client’s home. Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service and references will be required.
