We collaborate with grassroots charities based in Sri Lanka, Malawi, Mongolia, Indonesia, Nepal, Brazil, Ghana and Guatemala to provide children in vulnerable situations with the educational support they need to get a better start in life.
Since we opened our first project in 2011, we’ve raised over £600,000 and each year we support more than 5,000 children around the world The Role In this new role, you will define and implement the social strategy for Gandys, responsible for creating and curating content that delights our community and grows our brand and business.
Main Responsibilities Define, implement, and manage Social Media strategy with the aim of increasing engagement and reach for Gandys.
Create and curate thumb-stopping content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and Linked In.
This includes copy writing, video editing, organising/ attending photoshoots to film social-first content.
Manage and oversee the social media content calendar and scheduling, gaining relevant levels of sign off on all content.
Monitor and analyse channel performance metrics, make recommendations for improving KPI’s and deliver against them with support of the team.
Stay up to date with the latest industry and social media trends and best practices, where relevant incorporating them into your work, and help the wider marketing team / business stay educated on the world of social media.
Collaborate with the wider team including buying, marketing, creative and retail to bring to life wider campaigns and initiatives.
Ensure all social media creative is on brand and in line with our tone of voice Ownership and management of all social scheduling and reporting tools and listening platforms.
Work in collaboration with the Paid Social Media agency to maximize our content and KPIs.

- you’re passionate about social media, and storytelling with proven experience of TikTok and Instagram.
A genuine love for building relationships with influencers & creators in the industry Highly skilled in photography and videography including editing, with an acute eye for fashion.
Confident in directing and shooting, and collaborating with other team members.
Experience working on-set in shoot environments A creative thinker who is proficient at idea generation and visualisation, with competence in numbers to report the numbers accurately and make data driven decisions Proactive, ambitious, and hard-working with excellent communication and organisation skills, managing multiple projects, deadlines, and workloads.
