This is an exciting opportunity to join the operational team at The Marches, Woking as a Multi Skilled Operative. Our operational team are fundamental in creating a superb first and lasting impression of our community for all residents and visitors. You will be central to creating the “Native identity”. If you’re ready to be our next Native, you’ll probably: • Ensure that bins are positioned correctly under the bin chute for efficient waste disposal. • Collect cardboard and other waste and dispose of it properly. • Sort different types of waste materials into appropriate containers or areas for recycling or disposal. • Liaise with waste collection points to coordinate waste management activities. • Unblock bin chutes in a timely manner, ensuring proper functioning of waste disposal systems. • Perform routine cleaning tasks at entrances to maintain cleanliness and present a positive image. • Provide support to the maintenance team as needed, assisting with various tasks on an ad-hoc basis such as moving equipment, removing waste, and general cleaning and tidying. • Utilise jet washing equipment to clean and maintain the communal garden pavers. • Monitor waste storage areas to ensure they are clean, organised, and free of any potential hazards. • Report any maintenance or repair needs related to waste disposal equipment, bins, or chute systems.
