Exciting security opportunity in the vibrant city of Edinburgh with Securitas! We're seeking a skilled Security Officer with 3 years of experience to join our team, working an average of 60 hours a week, covering Day shifts.
As a Security Officer, your adaptability and flexibility are crucial in navigating dynamic security environments. Your keen attention to detail ensures a comprehensive approach to maintaining security protocols. With strong communication skills, you play a pivotal role in team coordination and customer interactions.

Job Description
* The client's requirements include strong customer service skills and a keen attention to detail. Key responsibilities will involve managing loading bay duties, being a friendly face, approachable and keeping people safe.
* Offer support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors.
* Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors upon arrival.
* Prevent and deter unauthorized access to the site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV, conduct external and internal security patrols.
* Ensure health and safety procedures are always followed, record and report all faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practices.
* Always remain 100% alert and vigilant to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening behaviour, undertake any other duties as requested by Branch Management.
Essential Skills
* Must have SIA Licence
* Must have 3 years of Security experience
* Must be able to commute to the site within a reasonable distance (up to 20 miles).
* Right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history
* Excellent customer service, people skills, organisational skills, and time management
* Good level of spoken and written English language
* Smart and presentable in appearance. Polite and proactive in engaging customers.
