Technology is the future why not be part of this exciting opportunity About the Role Leicestershire County Council have been implementing their new Care Technology Service within adult social care since May 2022. An exciting opportunity has become available for a Referral Coordinator to join our well established and supportive team in providing Care Technology. The aim of the new Care Technology Service is assist people in remaining independent for longer, stay at home and give people their confidence back. The new service positively impacts a wide range of stakeholders across the council and across the local health and care system, from care professionals and wider staff to people who need support, their carers and family members. We are seeking someone who is passionate about providing and delivering positive outcomes through the use of care technology alongside other support methods that the individual may or may not receive from adult social care. You will be responsible for the triage, processing and booking of new referrals received into the service and providing support and guidance to people looking to refer for Care Technology. About You To apply for this post, you must: Qualification at NVQ3 Social Care or equivalent level; or equivalent level of experience and an understanding of social care and use of Care Technology. Experience in evaluating referrals and managing associated risks with the ability to capture, store and accurately retrieve information. Experience in effectively planning and prioritising work and meeting deadlines. Computer literate with understanding of Microsoft Office packages Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and well developed listening skills with the ability to take in a broad range of information. Able to adapt to dealing with all kinds of customers in order to assist them adequately. Capable of working as part of a team and to work with colleagues effectively We’d also expect you to share our commitment to our values and will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the interview process.
