Your role will be to:
undertake all electrical work as required.
undertake mechanical (multi-skilling) work as defined.
work closely and in collaboration with the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Supervisor.
liaise with the Shift Production Leader on production priorities.
comply with all Standard Working Practices (SWP's) and permits to work where appropriate.
monitor the Engineering Requests (ER's) and carry out appropriate tasks.
carry out plant checks as defined.
work overtime, planned shut downs. be prepared to attend the work site out of normal working hours to address issues of safety, security or production equipment breakdowns - when needed
participate in the Engineering call out system.
comply with the quality procedures, code of conduct and health and safety policy
undertake any reasonable request to carry out any work that is not specifically defined within this job description
You will need:
Electrical Trade Apprenticeship
Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (or 5 years experience in electrical engineering)
