What's the Job?
As a 1:1 Mentor, you'll play a key role in helping students boost their skills and confidence. You'll work closely with students in core subjects, tailoring your lessons to their individual needs. Whether it's helping them nail tricky concepts or providing that extra bit of motivation, your guidance can make all the difference!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create fun, engaging lessons tailored to each student's abilities and goals.
- Track Progress: Help students improve by providing feedback and encouragement.
- Make a Difference: Build strong, supportive relationships with students, helping them unlock their full potential.
- Flexible Sessions: Choose between morning, afternoon, or evening sessions to fit your life.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: You've got teaching, tutoring experience or mentoring experience, and you know how to plan a great lesson.
- SEN: Strong experience with SEND
- Right to Work: You must have the right to work in the UK.
- DBS Check: Already have an enhanced DBS? Great! If not, you must be willing to undertake one.
- Enthusiasm: A passion for helping students succeed and a positive, motivating attitude.
- Desirable qualities: Teaching qualification
