The role of Senior Product Manager - Platform Services, strategically and commercially manages the product/product line that they are responsible for. The Senior Product Manager leverages their advanced understanding of their products industry/domain and applies their in-depth understanding of customer needs and behaviours to inform a mulityear platform vision, strategy and roadmap. WIth strong financial acumen, the Senior Product Manager leverages their understanding of finance principles and product metrics to drive ARR growth and COGS (cost of goods sold) reduction to achieve product contribution targets. The role suits someone with advanced understanding and experience of the concept to market process and product lifecycle management. As Senior Product Manager For Platform Services you will Proactively perform effective research to identify market requirements and understanding of technical trends Apply understanding of key financial terms, product metrics and understanding of leading/lagging indications to drive product contribution Identify opportunities to increase revenue (e.g. exploring new markets, implementing retention strategies) and to reduce costs Envision future state of the platform and how it will evolve over time to meet the changign needs of the users and market Lead and own the execution of the strategic plan to achieve the platform vision Lead effective annual strategic roadmao planning aligining with best practice and collaborating effectively with cross functional stakeholders Comfortable building business cases and performing ROI analysis Articulate a clear and compelling product roadmap to other functions, stakeholders including senior leadership and customers Apply experience of concept to market processes to enagage with the right function effectively and at the right time Advanced understanding in a Senior Product Manager Role Understand and has experience un managing Cloud/SaaS Products in a Platform as a Service environment Strong domain / Industry experience Strong customer facing skills with the ability to represent the company in a confident and professional manner Experienced in using product roadmapping software e.g. Aha An analytical approach to problem solving, data analysis and insights driven Communication - communciates clearly and effectively with others and presents information or ideas with impact Collaboration - works well with others to achieve a defined and common business purpose Strategic thinking - can develop a big-picture view and link long term vision to daily work.
