Job Purpose:
To deliver world-class service to clients and process client payrolls and related services, including 'end of year' (EOY) requirements accurately and on time.
Key Duties/Tasks:
* Collate, interpret, and validate data supplied by clients for processing.
* Process client data according to departmental processes & procedures.
* Communicate with clients following departmental protocols.
* Analyze and manage payroll output for accuracy and legislative compliance.
* Highlight, escalate, or respond to issues affecting payroll processing.
* Perform reconciliations and EOY processes as scheduled.
* Prepare and manually calculate payslips.
* Respond to client queries and meet service level targets.
* Coordinate with other departments to meet payroll deadlines.
* Maintain current Payroll Procedures manual.
* Provide required information to statutory bodies.
* Stay informed on ADP products, services, and statutory legislation.
* Work with team members to meet deadlines.
* Participate in performance statistics analysis and improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to training programs for new staff.
* Perform additional duties as required.
* Follow ADP policies as outlined in the Associate Handbook.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
* At least 2 years of UK payroll experience.
* Knowledge of payroll legislation.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Effective communication and influencing skills.
* Results-oriented and process-focused.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
