We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Support Coordinator within our Foster Careline Service. As a Senior Business Support Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the Fostering Managers and foster team members. You will continue to look after the administrative duties that arise in the office. You will also be required to take minutes from meetings, write reports, and respond to general inquiries. This is a busy and demanding role where it will allow you to show your skills of multi-tasking, using your initiative and confidence in a way to approach tasks independently. Travel between office locations is an essential requirement for this role as and when required to do so. This is a full-time role and is based the Foster Careline office. Your job will include: • Maintaining the CHARMS database to ensure compliance • Answering telephone and email enquiries • Processing regular checks on potential and existing foster carers/ children • Liaising with Local Authorities in accordance with processes and regulations • Processing financial claims, liaising with the finance team • Attending weekly/ monthly meetings and taking minutes • Foster Carer Panel - pre- and post-panel administration, panel agenda, communicating with Panel Members, attending panel to record the minutes, either in-person or virtual • Undertake the CHARMS Superuser role, attending meetings and training • Health and safety, working with the facilities team to ensure safety in the workplace • Any additional administrative task or projects maybe required by the business or fostering managers. • To promote inclusion and participation of children and young people in the development of the foster service.
