They are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee and enhance their operations team, driving efficiency and delivering excellence across all aspects of their supply chain and logistics.

Working closely with the Directors and collaborating across departments, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of products to customers worldwide while fostering operational excellence and team growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership in Operations
* Serve as the operational backbone of the business, setting and driving the vision for excellence in logistics, supply chain, and fulfilment.
* Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align operational strategies with business objectives and long-term growth goals.
* Design and implement scalable processes to support the company’s expansion into new markets while maintaining operational efficiency.
* Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and enhanced service delivery.
* Collaborate with demand planning and production to ensure customer dates are met.
Team Management and Leadership
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
* Conduct regular performance reviews, set measurable KPIs, and provide guidance to ensure individual and team success.
* Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales, production, compliance, and finance teams, ensuring operational tasks are effectively delegated and executed.
* Champion professional growth within the team, identifying training and development opportunities to enhance skillsets and future-proof the department.
Optimising Supply Chain & Logistics
* Manage the global supply chain from production to delivery, ensuring seamless coordination across factories, warehouses, and transport providers.
* Oversee the management of international shipments, customs clearance, and compliance with import/export regulations, ensuring timely delivery to customers worldwide.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners, ensuring SLAs are met or exceeded and driving cost-effective solutions.
* Proactively address and resolve any supply chain disruptions, ensuring customer commitments are upheld.
Driving Excellence in Order Fulfilment
* Review supplier manuals to understand procedures and share relevant information with teams, ensuring all relevant processes are followed accurately and punctually.
* Take full accountability for end-to-end order processing, ensuring the team delivers accurate and timely fulfilment to global customers.
* Ensure all orders are accurately processed and sent to factories, coordinating with production to guarantee delivery timelines are met.
* Implement robust tracking systems and KPIs to monitor order accuracy, warehouse performance, and on-time-in-full (OTIF) metrics.
* Conduct regular meetings with warehouse teams in the US, UK, and Europe to ensure alignment, resolve challenges, and enhance overall performance.
Enhancing Customer and Retailer Relationships
* Act as the primary operational contact for key global retailers, including Boots, Superdrug, and others, to ensure service excellence.
* Collaborate with sales teams to support retailer-specific compliance, promotional planning, and stock allocation.
* Address escalations from retailers, identifying root causes and implementing controls to prevent reoccurrence.
* Foster strong relationships with customers by delivering solutions that exceed expectations and establish the company as a trusted partner.
Logistics and Warehouse Management
* Oversee warehouse relationships globally, ensuring they are aligned with the company’s operational goals and customer expectations.
* Monitor stock levels, coordinating with purchasing teams to address inventory gaps and avoid overstock situations.
* Work directly with the Creative Director and the rest of the Product team to deliver the best product ranges in the market on time.
* Conduct price checks against supplier invoices to ensure accurate billing and cost management.
* Lead weekly shipping and warehouse meetings to track progress, address challenges, and improve efficiency.
* Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time to support shipments.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives
* Identify inefficiencies across operations and implement robust processes to improve speed, accuracy, and overall productivity.
* Leverage technology and systems (ERP, PLM, and others) to streamline workflows and enhance real-time tracking and reporting capabilities.
* Regularly review and update operational policies and procedures to reflect evolving business needs.
Sales Support and Reporting
* Support sales teams in forecasting and planning, providing real-time visibility on stock availability and shipping timelines.
* Provide regular reporting on operational performance, aligning with sales forecasts and highlighting areas for improvement.
* Collaborate on seasonal promotions and high-volume periods, ensuring all logistics requirements are planned and executed effectively.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to bring:
* A minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management within a product-based environment.
* A demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams to achieve outstanding results.
* Proficiency with ERP/PLM systems and a strong understanding of international shipping and customs regulations.
* Advanced Excel and data analysis skills are advantageous.
* A proactive approach to resolving challenges, with a focus on driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
* Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and external stakeholders.
