We're currently seeking an Assistant Store Person to join our Team in Bathgate, who shares our commitment to quality, service, and environmental improvement. Overview of role: You will be responsible for providing an efficient service ensuring that stock levels are maintained and remain accurate and making sure parts are available efficiently and in the most cost-effective way. Duties and responsibilities: Issue required stock to technicians on request in a timely manner Ensure the return of parts/ items that are not required Liaise with suppliers regarding delivery dates and returns Regular checks on non-impress stock to ensure levels are not running too low Keep store and outside yard clean and orderly at all times Ensure the outgoing PPE is logged to the right person Help carry out monthly rolling stock checks Collect parts locally when required Booking in of received goods Delivery to sites when required Stock control Sills & experience: Driving license essential Manual handling ability up to 20kg Previous warehouse/store room experience essential Experience using Microsoft packages (Outlook, Excel and Word) Accurate with good attention to detail Flexible with a can do attitude Enhanced disclosure check What We Offer: £20,000 to £23,000 per annum (depending on experience) 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Access to company vehicle and fuel card Company pension & life assurance 29 days holiday Employee assistance programme with 24 hours telephone and online access Generous recommend a friend scheme.
