Role
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to prospective and existing clients.
Location
This role is a full-time hybrid.
Location: Offices based in Liverpool City Centre and Wyboston, commutable to either office.
Responsibilities
1. Develop an effective understanding of the capability, benefits, and competitive advantages of Universally Speaking services.
2. Identify prospective customers and individual organizations to focus on sales activities.
3. Develop new client relationships via cold calling, Internet, and trade shows.
4. In coordination with Sales Management, identify, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities.
5. Promote and educate clients regarding Universally Speaking service streams.
6. Provide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with the Project teams and Senior Management.
7. Manage and control pricing and contractual issues by developing a thorough understanding of company procedures and working model, alongside Heads of Services.
8. Take an active role in learning about each client’s industry, business needs and company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high level of service.
9. Deliver outstanding presentations and meetings with clients to create engagement and map and clarify client needs.
10. Be a key contributor to multi-service bids and proposals working with Sales and Service Line Leads.
11. Update Pipedrive to maintain accurate customer insight and feedback.
12. Perform other special projects or duties when required.
Requirements
13. Minimum bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
14. High level of communication skills in English (written and spoken).
15. Ability to build and maintain relationships.
16. Motivated with a proactive attitude.
17. Results-driven, ability to work independently and take ownership.
18. Good analytical skills needed to project revenues, monitor budgets and other necessary calculations.
19. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
20. Experience in Strategic Business Development and/or Client Services/Account Management as a long-term career path.
21. Previous Sales/Business Development/Account Management experience preferably in the Gaming Industry or similar.
22. Most importantly, the ideal candidate must demonstrate ability to: multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build strategic relationships with clients and co-workers, work as part of a team, take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service.
23. Experience of working under Non-Disclosure Agreements and understanding the impact of the confidentiality involved.
