Site Manager required in Stalbridge
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager for a housing project in Stalbridge. You will be working for a groundworks contractor on site and need experience running civils projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities are conducted efficiently and safely while managing a team of staff. This role requires strong leadership skills and effective communication. Note that this role is office-based.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
2. Manage paperwork including risk assessments, quality assurance checks, and permits to dig.
3. Liase with other site managers to discuss progress.
Experience
1. Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a similar industry.
2. Strong background in supervising teams and managing operational tasks.
3. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
