What You’ll Be Doing As a Waste and Resources Consultant, you will be at the forefront of waste and resource management. Your responsibilities include: Managing projects from start to finish, including liaising with clients, preparing reports and managing project finances. Completing waste assessments and classification, aligning with WM3 Technical Guidance and providing compliance advice. Advising on waste and material management options to achieve support clients in legal compliance whilst providing sustainable outcomes and innovative solutions. Writing waste and environmental management plans for a variety of small and large scale projects. Supporting in the production of CL:AiRE DoWCoP Material Management Plans and their implementation for sustainable reuse of excavation material. Site visits to undertake sampling of waste streams and inspection of waste management processes to support compliance. Working closely with other team members to deliver on a broad range of projects and increase your knowledge and skills in waste and resource management. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking individuals passionate about sustainability and resource management. Ideal candidates will have: BSc degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Geology, or a related field. Understanding and knowledge of waste legislation and policy in the UK. Experience in areas such as waste analysis and classification, the CL:AiRE DoWCoP process, and waste compliance (training provided where required). Strong communication and problem-solving skills. A proactive and adaptable mindset, eager to contribute to projects and the wider team. A valid UK driving licence and willing to spend some working days away from the office and home at times.
