Are you a skilled Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse looking for an exciting opportunity within an Adults Community Mental Health Team? We are thrilled to offer a locum position in Oldham for a three-month period, with the flexibility of part-time or full-time work. Core hours are from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, but we've got the flexibility for you to start and finish as your schedule allows, such as 8am-6pm for four days a week or other variations. What you will do:
* To be responsible for the co-ordination, commissioning and personal delivery of individual packages of care for a caseload of service users within our secondary service.
* To undertake initial assessments of new referrals to the service.
* To act as shift coordinator when on the rota as duty worker and to deputise for the manager/deputy manager in their absence; to problem solve any issues that arise within the team and to maintain overview of quality and standards within the team.
* To supervise more junior members of staff.
