We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team in Cheltenham. Role Responsibilities As an Accounts Assistant, you will support the finance team in key tasks, ensuring accurate financial management and record-keeping. Posting all accounts receivable (AR) and general ledger (GL) transactions Reconciling cashbooks to bank statements Running reports in NetSuite Reviewing reports and issuing self-billing invoices Inputting data into each tax portal Making payments and reconciling postings Credit Control -Updating weekly accounts receivable spreadsheets and monitoring and following up on overdue debts with account managers or customers Providing statements, copy invoices, and issuing credit notes The Person Strong finance and accounting skills Experience in credit control and reconciliations Excellent communication skills (email, Teams, and telephone) Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities The ability to work independently and as part of a team Confidence with Excel, Word, and Outlook A relevant degree or AAT qualification is advantageous Benefits 23 statutory holiday days & 8 bank holidays per annum Additional day off for your birthday Hybrid working opportunities Generous company discount Private Medical Insurance after 5 years’ service Cycle to work scheme Long service award scheme Company social events If you are interested and have the relevant experience, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV, and we promise to get back to you.
