Employment Solicitor - 2yrs to 20yrs PQE
Location: Leeds/Hybrid
Type: Part-time or Full-time
I'm acting for a well-rated but small firm which has a strong brand in Employment Law, providing services from Leeds to a national client base of employer clients. They are not an overly corporate firm; rather, they value personalities, good communication skills, and client contact.
They have a relaxed culture, do not manage by targets, and want someone who enjoys being part of the business. At their core is technical competence; they know what they're good at and are confident in their offering to significant clients.
Having won a substantial amount of new work, they're looking for at least one additional Employment Solicitor with a base level of PQE to run files at their own level, whether that is 2yrs PQE or substantially more. They can craft the caseload around you. The budget will be according to experience, and they're happy to pay strongly for technical competency.
Full-time or part-time will work. They attend the office in Leeds on a hybrid basis, but given that it is a small team, they prefer everyone to be in a few times a week; this is not intended to be a remote role with occasional attendance.
Marketing is a collective effort, and they would like someone who enjoys adding to the brand's visibility in the market. This may focus more on involvement in digital and online presence rather than attending events outside of working hours. If marketing is not your strength, it is not mandatory; your contribution to client service and relationship building through your day-to-day delivery will be appreciated.
An exciting opportunity for an Employment Lawyer who wants to enjoy their work and be part of a growing brand, in a role that can be crafted around your own circumstances and expectations.
Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and do not prohibit applications from candidates who can demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to inquiries as soon as possible, but if we have not contacted you within 5 days, then unfortunately, your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
