This role focuses on revenue generation, securing partnerships, increasing market share, and fostering key stakeholder relationships within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities Deliver sales strategies for CAPEX, Finance, and PPA Renewable projects in line with company objectives.
Manage and monitor sales appointments through the sales funnel, ensuring effective coordination of sales enquiries from lead generation to contract closure.
Target new and existing sales opportunities in collaboration with the operations team to improve conversion rates and sales proactivity.
Provide regular sales reviews, pipeline reports, and KPI updates.
Maintain consistent best practices in sales, ensuring a strong brand presence for internal and external customers.
Monitor and report key sales performance metrics to the senior leadership team.
Utilise CRM systems to track leads, calls, matured projects, and relevant sales data.
Ensure all administrative tasks, including CAPEX & PPA proposals and supporting reports, are completed in a timely manner.
Conduct client engagement calls to both new and existing customers, offering additional products and services while following up on existing leads.
Identify cross-selling opportunities to maximise customer value.
Proactively identify potential business opportunities, particularly within solar power generation, energy trading, CAPEX, and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including B2B clients, government agencies, industry associations, and third-party installers.
Engage with C-suite executives and business owners to understand their needs and develop tailored proposals.
Provide ongoing support to key accounts, ensuring a positive customer experience and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience NVQ or equivalent qualification.
GCSE education or equivalent.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
Experience using CRM applications.
Minimum of 3 years experience in sales, with at least 1 year in the solar or renewable energy industry.
Expertise in Power Purchase Agreements, energy trading, and utility-scale solar assets.
Strong knowledge of solar power and renewable energy.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering results.
Skills & Attributes Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to engage senior decision-makers.
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM systems and overall IT literacy.
Ability to assist and support at board level.

Strong judgement and risk management skills.
A proactive, hands-on team player who can deliver results under pressure.
