We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic Business Support Officer to join our Adult Mental Health Service. This role is specifically to support our Integrated Mental Health Team based at Horninglow Clinic in Burton on Trent.
This key role within the team will be to provide comprehensive administration and line management to the team, as we seek to support adults across South Staffordshire in need of Mental Health support. We are a supportive team, who are passionate about delivering excellent care as well as promoting staff wellbeing.
As a person you will need to be self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise your daily workload whilst also managing your working time effectively. You will be able to work independently as well as being a good team player, with excellent communication and accuracy skills.
Main duties of the job
* Request information/activity reports that are required on behalf of the Service Manager and Operational Team Leader including data timeliness, data quality, contract monitoring reports, waiting times, etc.
* Provide a central point of contact to respond to/resolve any queries on behalf of Service Manager and Operational Team Leader where appropriate in relation to all Key Performance Indicators.
* To provide administrative support in relation to the BSO role only.
* Attend internal and external meetings relevant to post, taking minutes and distributing using appropriate systems, arranging a variety of meetings and sourcing agenda items, as directed by the Service Manager and Operational Team Leader.
* Process staff change forms and relevant letters; data amendment forms; termination forms and general HR relevant information.
* Support and participate in the Business Meetings held on a monthly basis within the clinical teams.
* Contribute to a robust and strong cohesive framework from the established BSO network, providing support to colleagues to ensure consistency and equity of provision across Services.
* Responsible for liaising with Corporate/Support Services to obtain data/performance reports.
* Provide regular monthly Service/Team updates as required to Service Manager and Operational Team Leader.
* Undertake regular 1:1 supervision sessions with identified administration staff as directed by the Service Manager or Operational Team Lead and report any training issues and needs.

The Integrated Mental Health teams work as part of a 'neighbourhood' offering place-based provision of mental health services in partnership with other local organisations. Clinicians within the IMHT will offer interventions and treatments which are concordant with NICE guidelines, and allocation within the team will be based on the needs of the service user, matching clinician skills to service user needs.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 Business Administration (or equivalent level of experience)
* OCR/ RSA III or equivalent experience
* BTEC Diploma in Business Administration (Level 1)
Experience
* Previous experience of setting up office/administrative systems
* Ability to plan, schedule and organise day-to-day work
* Internal MPFT - BSO or BSA with IMHT experience
* Experience in the NHS
* Knowledge/Experience of Patient Clinical System
