Job title: Project Administrator
Location: Rochester.
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Undertake a wide range of project administrative activities, both routine and more bespoke, to support project leadership team
* Proactively communicating in an efficient and polite manner with internal stakeholders
* Effectively responding and prioritising queries from internal and external stakeholders
* Being proactive, and reaching out to internal stakeholders where required to gather information or check on progress
* Collating data or information to produce more bespoke reports, schedules, presentations, summaries and letters as required for internal or external distribution
* Coordinating team meeting requirements including the arranging of internal and external meetings, booking meeting rooms and venues etc. Checking the arrangements are satisfactory and making improvements as required
* Routinely liaising with project leadership, in order to provide proactive updates, obtain authorisation, and escalate issues ahead of time to allow for early action
Your skills and experiences:
Essentials:
* Previous administration or personal assistant experience required
* Ability to analyse data and summarise results into a report
* Proficient in the use of Word, Excel and Powerpoint
* Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Desirable:
* Competent in the use of PowerBI
* Worked in an engineering industry

This exciting opportunity is within the Electronic Systems business areas at BAE Systems, Rochester, Kent. Here at Electronic Systems, we produce commercial and defence electronics for flight and engine control, maritime controls, electronic warfare, surveillance, communications, geospatial intelligence, and power and energy management. Our programmes vary in size and complexity with values ranging from £100k’s to £10m’s with teams of up to 250 people.
