RoleOverview
Reportingdirectly into the UK Head of Sales, you will own the business in your assignedpostcodes. You will have a ‘hunter’ mentality and be truly proactive in lookingfor new business opportunities as well as receiving internal enquiries in yourarea. From identifying your own opportunities to closing them out, you will beresponsible for winning your own business.
Technicalsupport is available in abundance and will be on hand to assist you with thedesign aspect as well as supporting you in meetings or from afar.
Experiencewithin the Entrance / Access Control industry is not a must but experiencewithin this sector or the Security sector may be advantageous if you have theother skills our client is looking for.

KeyResponsibilities
·Build, develop,qualify, and close the pipeline of new business opportunities in the UK
·Maintain and developa client hunting list, pipeline and sales plan
·Ensure the assignedannual sales plan for the role is achieved
·Responsible fornurturing and developing relationships with the company’s existing clients
·Understand and actupon cross-selling opportunities and present applicable solutions and servicesof the company’s full product portfolio.
·Understand andinterpret the security, operational and financial objectives of prospectiveclients
·Maintain frequentcontact with all clients and deliver best-in-class customer service byproviding new solutions that apply to client needs
·Deliver advancedsolution presentations (verbal and written) to prospective customers thatcomprehensively outline the solutions, benefits and ROI to the client
·Understand andmonitor market trends and competitor activity
·Stay current withexternal and internal developments within the industry
·Communicate directlywith Managers about opportunities and issues and propose solutions
·Set up ways ofmonitoring performance of clients and ensure appropriate follow ups
·Suggest new productdevelopment ideas
·Attend trade showsand exhibitions
·Travel is required
TheIdeal Candidate
Theideal candidate will have:
·Minimum 2 years’sales experience, but our client is looking for people who they can help mould- be a sponge!
·Energy, and lots of it– show real drive and a hunger to succeed; have a ‘hunter’ mentality
·A good understandingof sales cycles, whether it’s on a new build development or on a retrofitopportunity - who do you target, how do you network and who are the decisionmakers?
·Experience dealingwith Developers, Architects, Principal Contractors, M&E Contractors,Managing Agents, Facilities Management, System Integrators, SecurityIntegrators etc.
·Challenger salesexperience would be advantageous
·A voice / desire tocontribute toward the growth of the business - your voice will be heard and youwill have the opportunity to run your patch with creative freedom andexpression
·A willingness to takerisks and be happy to learn from failure – be willing to learn and try newapproaches

Essential:

·Proven ability tonetwork, prospect and convert new clients and build strong relationships
·Strong businessacumen with the ability to quickly understand the client’s business, processes andobjectives that will translate into effective solution propositions

·Exceptionalcommunication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
·Excellent organisational,time management, negotiation and customer service skills
·Proficiency in allMicrosoft Office software packages and overall computer skills and a preferencewith Dynamics 365
Desirable:
·Demonstrableexperience of working in the Access Control industry (technical or sales or managerial)with a solid working knowledge of security solutions
·A strong network inthe commercial properties and institutional verticals
