Job Purpose
To support the seamless running of the bar, by providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and guest needs are anticipated
Responsibilities
* To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all items listed on each menu including ingredients, preparation and serving methods.
* To provide a speedy, efficient and professional level of service at all times.
* To have a thorough knowledge of all menu and beverage list offerings
* To assist with all wet stock deliveries and help transfer stock from one department to another.
* To maximize sales opportunities through good service
* To ensure that all liquor stock levels are maintained and correct ordering procedures are carried out
* To attend all compulsory training sessions.
* To be hands-on and present in the bar at all times during service.
* To ensure that all service ware is properly cared for, cleaned and prepared for every service.
* To maintain the highest possible standards of personal hygiene and appearance and to be dressed in clean correct uniform at all times.
* Where necessary, assist with the training of new employees
Communication
* To provide a clear handover during shift changes
* Timely and effective communication of all complaints/ comments to the Duty Manager
* Be prepared to answer questions about Nexus Club London
* Observe restaurant areas and report security issues to security staff
* Communicate to the duty manager any items that become unavailable during the shift.

* To be aware of restaurant / company skills and standards, ensuring these are followed
* A courteous and professional service is provided at all times
* Company grooming and uniform standards are maintained consistently
