Salary: £31,155pa plus 7% pension

Job Overview
Are you passionate about nature and managing countryside sites in the heart of Exeter? Are you excited about engaging people to become actively involved in managing Exeter City’s Valley Parks?
We are looking for a motivated and skilled person who can manage the complex challenges of nine nature reserves, ensuring sites are managed to the highest standard for both people and wildlife.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead on developing local community groups/support for all key sites, fostering a sense of ownership and pride in the Valley Parks.
2. Assist in developing a long-term vision for the Valley Parks, taking stock and re-envisaging current management for key sites.
3. Ensure public safety across all sites through detailed planning and management.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will need broad-ranging experience in habitat management and restoration, as well as access provision.
The role is based at Cricklepit Mill but will also require working closely with reserve staff based at Woodah Farm.
This is a full-time, permanent post based at Cricklepit Mill.
