The post is suitable for a a candidate with a specialist interest in allergy and the successful appointee could start from April 2025. NUH provide a wide range of outpatient services for Clinical Immunology and Allergy patients from within Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands region. This is a new post and the appointee will join a team of 5 substantive consultants. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will work with the Clinical Immunology and Allergy Consultant team to give professional direction and clinical leadership for specialist Clinical Immunology and Allergy services with an emphasis on allergy. This will include supervision and management of patients with allergic conditions and immunodeficiency, contributing to achieving the standards required to maintain QPIDS and IQAS accreditation. The main part of the post will be supporting the allergy services including challenge day case. The immunology aspect of the role can be discussed and agreed upon reflecting service need and the interest of the candidate. In addition they will contribute to teaching, clinical governance and audit. You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Immunology or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview.
