An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy team working for Dorset HealthCare University NHS Trust based at Bridport Community Hospital.

The Outpatient Physio team have strong links to the local community in the area, linking with local leisure services and community groups. Within Dorset HealthCare Trust, we work closely with the MSK Orthopaedic Interface service (known as Dorset MSK) and our local hospitals. Main Responsibilities
1. To work autonomously to provide assessment and treatment/management for a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions including those with complex needs. Referrals are received from GP, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, MIU/A+E, self-referral, and other NHS colleagues. When appropriate, onward referral to other services may be required.
2. To support the development of students and other colleagues.
3. To assist the Team Lead in the management of the Physiotherapy Service, i.e., to be involved in service development.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
