Main purpose of job: To represent the company managing sales accounts and winning new business to ensure profitability. Working to target and taking personal accountability for reaching targets set by MD and Sales Director. This job is based out of our Corby Office, supporting clients within a 50 mile radius, so candidates already within a reasonable driving distance would be preferred. Our ideal candidate is experienced in the role, there is room for promotion for the right candidate, more experienced candidates are encouraged to reach out directly in confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Seeking new business opportunities and developing relationships to drive sales.
2. Account management of existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, compliance and sales maximisation.
3. Writing and calculating quotations for equipment or its installation, based on customer requirements and securing the partnership.
4. Preparing drawings and specifications of required jobs to ensure a seamless process for our customer and Engineering Teams.
5. Actively engaging with other Teams within the business whether to facilitate the completion of a task or to contribute to the Company’s commitment to continuous improvement.
6. Arranging and attending visits to customer sites for account management, prospecting and to specify jobs.
7. Attending networking conferences and events.
The ideal candidate
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to actively listen and build rapport with a variety of customers.
* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to be versatile to manage varied workloads.
* Strong interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficient in speaking and writing in English, English as the first language is preferable.
* Compressed air or pneumatics experience is highly preferable but experience in mechanical engineering or a similar field will be considered.
* Experience in a role in sales or with sales-driven targets.
* UK driving license with 6 points or less.
