Reed in Partnership is a public service provider specialising in skills training for the long-term unemployed, increasing employment opportunities by working with employers and providing youth services. Please note this role requires you to be located in and around the Stoke and or Stafford-shire area due to the large element of travel to deliver sessions. Due to this you will also need access to your own vehicle What is the role about? Engagement & Delivery Coaches are critical to the successful delivery of Reed Wellbeing's world class evidence-based health & wellbeing behavioural lifestyle interventions. Comprising of 1-1 health and wellbeing interventions, the Engagement & Delivery Coach will be responsible for engagement & delivery of the path to remission programme to agreed quality standards in order to support participants in achieving their SMART goals relating to their specific health programme. Engagement & Delivery Coaches are assigned to one or more service streams, dependent on the size and complexity of the contract they work on. Coaches will be responsible for engaging with local GP Practices and communities, delivering programmes and supporting participants through their path to remission journey to successful outcomes. Time will be allocated to these services according to participant referral flows and associated resourcing needs. Health & Wellbeing Engagement & Delivery Coaches will be provided with appropriate support and development across all service delivery areas. Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include Engagement Health and Wellbeing Engagement & Delivery Coaches will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships within the contract that they work on (aligned to the size and complexity of the region). The Engagement & Delivery Coach will act as an ambassador for the programme. Compliance The Health & Wellbeing Engagement and Delivery Coach will be required to capture contract-specific data on our Reed Wellbeing systems to assure quality and to comply with Commissioner reporting requirements. Further to this, the Co-Member will be responsible for assessing the suitability of venues for effective programme delivery. Delivery Health & Wellbeing Engagement and Delivery Coaches will be responsible for effective delivery of Reed Wellbeing services. Delivering in accordance with the curriculum, resources and quality standards, they will support and coach participants to achieve sustained behavioural improvements in their lifestyle and health. Self-development & Continuous Improvement To ensure the programme is performing effectively and to the highest standards, Health & Wellbeing Coaches are expected to proactively contribute ideas for service improvement and actively and satisfactorily participate in initial training and continuous professional development activities to ensure they maintain up to date relevant skills for their role. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with Essential Criteria Experience of coaching or facilitating diverse participant groups. Experience of/interest in working with individuals to achieve sustained behavioural or lifestyle improvements. Experience of working to targets and driving performance improvement. Ability to establish an effective and appropriate rapport with key stakeholders and participants. An understanding of health-related behaviour change. Ability to communicate sensitively and accurately, information regarding an individual's health and weight. Ability to coach individuals to identify solutions and develop knowledge and skills to support behavioural change. Demonstrable time management and personal organisation skills with the capacity to monitor, evaluate and report on work carried out. Willingness to undertake evening and weekend work as required. Willingness and flexibility to travel in order to deliver programmes across designated region. Desirable Qualifications Level 3 qualification in health improvement or promotion or public health or equivalent (eg. City & Guilds Level 3 Health Trainer or equivalent); or Level 3 qualification in nutrition.
