Build a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love of learning. Ensure that individual learning needs are met through differentiated teaching and provide one-to-one support where required. Assess students’ progress using formative and summative assessment techniques and implement targeted interventions for those who need extra support. Work closely with parents and carers to provide feedback and share strategies for supporting children’s learning at home. Collaborate with teaching assistants to ensure effective classroom management and provide additional support where needed. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a track record of teaching in primary settings Experience of teaching in Year 1 or an understanding of EYFS and KS1 curriculum is essential A commitment to creating a stimulating and engaging environment where children feel valued and excited to learn Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to manage a diverse class and keep students motivated A passion for personalising learning and a desire to meet the needs of all learners Excellent communication skills, both with children and adults A commitment to continuous professional development and improving your teaching practice What’s in It for You?
