We are currently recruiting for a Motor Portfolio Manager for our Commercial Insurance business in the London and South East Region.
About the role:
As a Regional Motor Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for creating and delivering the Region’s Commercial Motor business plan. You will be a subject matter expert, expected to find solutions to complex problems and create non-standard insurance solutions. You will support teams in winning and retaining business through coaching, training, and technical referral sign-offs, utilizing your high technical underwriting license. You will oversee the quality of the business being written and ensure the technical capability is developed to keep pace with growth and market opportunities.
Skills and experience required:
* Leadership, coaching, and mentoring staff experience
* Managing underwriting accounts
* Technical Motor Underwriting expertise and portfolio management
* Developing strategic contacts and relationships across the market
