Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant (TA) to provide one-to-one support for a child with ASC in a nurturing primary school located in the Thornton area. Key Responsibilities: Deliver personalised one-to-one support for a child with ASC. Assist the child in accessing learning activities while promoting social and emotional development. Implement individual behaviour management strategies tailored to the child’s needs. Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external specialists. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. What We Are Looking For: Experience working with children with ASC or similar additional needs. A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A genuine passion for supporting children’s educational and emotional development. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare, or similar) are desirable but not essential.
