We are looking for a skilled and experienced Network Technical Head of Telecoms to lead the technical and safety aspects of telecoms engineering assets. The key responsibilities include: You’ll provide comprehensive technical and safety leadership for telecommunications engineering assets, ensuring strict adherence to the Network Rail Health and Safety Management System. This includes conducting regular and detailed risk assessments to identify potential hazards, performing safety audits to evaluate compliance effectiveness, and implementing industry best practices to mitigate risks associated with telecommunications operations. In addition, you’ll oversee the management of the company's Asset Management Policy exclusively for telecommunications engineering assets. This encompasses conducting thorough evaluations and analyses to ensure alignment with Network Rail's operational objectives. Key activities involve optimising asset performance through data-driven decision-making, ensuring the reliability and sustainability of equipment, and coordinating with cross-functional teams—such as operations, maintenance, and compliance—to enhance service delivery.
