We are keen to speak with Assistant accountants from the insurance sector, to join a Lloyds Of London client of ours on an initial 6 month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with financial reporting and month-end processes
2. Support the preparation of Lloyd's regulatory returns
3. Reconcile premiums, claims, and other financial transactions
4. Assist with budgeting and forecasting
5. Work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with Lloyd's and UK GAAP requirements
Requirements:
1. Lloyd's of London experience in a similar role is essential
2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Assistant Accountant or finance-related position within the insurance sector
3. Strong understanding of Lloyd's reporting requirements and financial processes
4. Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
