The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at our Mental Health NHS Trust in Chester. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals dealing with mental health issues across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in a mental health setting.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
* Administer medication and monitor side effects, ensuring all records are accurately maintained.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Offer support and guidance to families and caregivers.
* Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
* Participate in regular training and professional development activities.
* Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and professional standards.
Requirements
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
* Current and valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
* Current and valid PMVA Certificate.
* Experience in a mental health setting is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of mental health issues across all age groups.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping individuals with mental health issues.
