My Client, a provider of IT support services to a wide range of industry sectors, is looking for a Head Of Sales to join them on a permanent basis.
They are heavily involved in the Aviation space, and this role will entail working with Aviation clients.
They are open to two types of candidates: either someone who has a pure Managed Service background but not much in the aviation sector (End user computing/deployment of people/managing on-site engineers and dispatch teams) or someone who has a technical aviation background and who has sold to aviation clients.
This role will entail managing a team as well as being an individual contributor. You will be client-facing, which means you will be traveling in the UK and internationally.

Minimum Requirements:
1. 10+ years of experience in IT Managed Services sales, with at least 5 years focused on airports/airlines or aviation IT support (The aviation part isn't essential if you have a strong background in the IT Managed Services arena).
2. Proven track record in delivering IT support for passenger processing equipment (e.g., kiosks, bag-drop systems, boarding gates).
3. Strong background in Service Desk provision, on-site and dispatch engineering services.
4. Experience in conceptualizing and delivering technology-based products or solutions that drive operational efficiencies and cost optimization for customers.
5. Demonstrated success in defining and executing marketing strategies that support sales growth.
