Job OverviewMy client is a leading provider of specialist software solutions specialising in time & attendance, access control, and job costing systems that serve more than 75,000 users, offering an array of both standard and bespoke solutions designed to meet diverse business needs, covering advanced solutions and additional offerings.Role PurposeThe Sales Account Manager will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients, identifying new sales opportunities, and achieving or exceeding sales targets. This role acts as the main point of contact between the company and its clients, with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and retention while maximising revenue generation.Role ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.Understand client needs and objectives to deliver tailored solutions.Act as a trusted advisor, offering relevant product or service recommendations.Sales and Revenue Generation:Achieve or exceed sales quotas and targets.Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing client accounts.Account Planning:Develop account plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.Conduct market research to identify potential growth areas.Forecast and track account metrics to monitor progress.Support the development of account strategies.Product Knowledge:Maintain a thorough understanding of the companys products and services.Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.Clearly communicate product features and benefits to clients.Negotiation and Closing:Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients.Prepare and present proposals to clients.Close sales and finalise agreements.Manage sales CRM.Customer Support and Issue Resolution:Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly.Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer problems.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and transactions using a CRM platform.Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align strategies and meet customer needs.Personal ProfileQualifications & ExperienceProven sales experience, typically 2-4 years in a similar roleKnowledge of relevant industry trends and products | Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office SuiteResults-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBachelors degree within Business Management, Marketing or Sales is a nice to have.Skills & AbilitiesAttention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood team playerAbility to meet deadlinesExperience in software/IT sales within any industryExperience in achieving targetsTPBN1_UKTJ
