We are seeking a skilled Chef for a contract catering, commercial kitchen position.
Award-winning menus take seasonal influences and rotate every 3 weeks.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure high-quality food production and presentation
* Oversee food preparation and cooking of hot meals, sandwiches, and desserts
* Preparation of ingredients
* Collaborate with the team to develop new dishes and menus
* Product labelling and date labelling
* Maintain kitchen hygiene and adherence to food safety standards
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a restaurant kitchen or commercial/hospitality environment
* Strong culinary skills with expertise in various cooking techniques
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
* Proven ability to handle and control allergen requirements safely
Working hours:
* Monday to Friday, 5am-14:00
* No evenings or weekends
