Part Time Police Custody Nurse or Paramedic

The custody suites require coverage 24/7 to ensure the safety of detainees, following a pattern agreed with the customer.
* Salary: £20,000 per year
* £500 bonus upon completion of 12 months service
* Part-time fixed shifts: 06:45 to 19:00 for day shifts and 18:45 to 07:00 for night shifts, working in a team rota pattern of 2 shifts on, 8 days, 2 nights, 4 days off. Rolling rota available 2 years in advance
* Average estimated overtime: £3,500 per annum
* NMC/HCPC Registration paid
* No previous forensic experience required as full training will be provided
The role requires flexibility to work not only in your base Custody suite but across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration: 2 years post-qualification - Band 5 minimum
* Paramedic: 2 years post-qualification
* Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field: General Practice, A&E, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service
Vetting Requirements
* Driving Licence (required)
* Must be a UK resident for 3 years with no gaps out of the country exceeding 3 months
* All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
