Job Description:
The Internal Communications Manager will be the driving force to deliver a communications approach that connects employees to our business goals, values and behaviours.
Initially reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will shape the internal communications strategy and deliver it. This role will initially sit within the People & Culture team but is anticipated transition to the Communications function as the team evolves.
Our employees will be based both in the UK and US.
The ideal candidate will already be working in internal communications and have experience in developing and delivering communications plans to support business projects and priorities. A great storyteller, you can easily build relationships across all company functions to discover compelling stories that fit into an overall company narrative. You will transform these stories into engaging content assets, bringing them to life for our employees across multiple channels, both digital and in person. You will play a key role in supporting our race companywide weekly Briefs.
What you will be doing:
* Identify and develop the channels for effective engaging communications.
* Plan, edit and write content across internal communication channels, including the Intranet, digital platforms, and internal events.
* Create and deliver the internal communications plan.
* Be responsible for developing and the ongoing management of the internal intranet as a key communications channel.
* Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to create content for a regular programme of internal communications.
* Use audience insight and analytics to help drive the internal communications strategy, channel selection, content calendar, and messaging with the objective of continuous improvement.
* Support and work closely with the People & Culture Team with key employee engagement activations and help to bring the Team’s mission, achievements and culture to life.
* Work with videographers and photographers to create high-quality internal content that aligns our brand guidelines and communication strategy.
* Collaborate with editors to ensure engaging, polished content for internal digital channels, employee stories and key internal initiatives and events.

* Experience of how to engage through various communication styles and channels.
* Demonstrable previous experience of prioritising and multi-tasking a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
* Experience of creating and delivering content via digital internal communications channels.
