Big C, as a regional charity, is dedicated to supporting anyone affected by cancer in Norfolk and neighbouring counties. We are offering a unique work placement opportunity for someone with a passion for making a difference for people affected by cancer. Using your skills in research and project planning, you will undertake a n audit of Big C, using analysis and research to support the development of an ESG Policy which demonstrates credentials and assists the charity in securing grant funding. This placement is ideal for the 12 week work placement element of the UKRI-BBSRC Doctoral Training Programme, offering students the experience to work in an area outside of their PhD project. It may also suit university students who are seeking work experience in their area of study. Primarily based at Big C’s Head Office in Centrum, Norwich Research Park, the team also hybrid work flexibly between home and office. For the purpose of clarity, these are unpaid internship opportunities. To be suitable for this placements you must: - Have a good understanding of project planning Have good research and analytical skills Be comfortable with working independently and as part of a team A good understanding or strong interest of the project subject Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Maintain excellent record keeping Big C's Core Values are Respect Empathy Support Trust and Honesty.
