About this role
You will be responsible for getting our engineers to the right place at the right time, to build our network, installing our customers and helping to ensure our customer experience is outstanding while maintaining our proud record of being the lowest cost and fastest to install in the industry. You will have a strong eye for detail, understand Microsoft Excel and be able to think logically and react rapidly to changing circumstances. Main responsibilities
* Coordinate the daily activities of the fibre engineering team by planning and scheduling appointments over the phone, email communication and our scheduling app.
* Liaise between Project Teams, internal departments and Engineering to ensure the smooth installation of services that meet the customer’s needs.
* Create and maintain all project related documentation including Trackers, Installation completion documentation, Audit documentation, Job packs and RAMS.
* Ensure processes and procedures are documented. Track and coordinate all activities and tasks through all stages of the installation process. This includes monitoring, reporting, and escalating issues when required.
* Coordinate and track tools and test equipment between field staff, updating relevant systems.
* Escalate scheduling and engineering issues to Management.
* Materials Management: Identification of consumables and parts, placing orders, tracking orders, and coordinating deliveries to the site.
* Communicate to engineers and audit project documentation, arranging field quality audits as appropriate.
* Materials Management: Own stock control, ordering and management of all engineer equipment and consumables. Liaise with Engineering management and Purchasing to ensure stock levels are fully maintained.
* Reporting and KPI’s: update KPI’s and key Business Information systems to reflect engineering performance and productivity.
* Take a flexible approach in dealing with amendments to planned schedules, while processing and managing new and ad-hoc instructions as they arise.
Working hours
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Experience required
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work logically to meet deadlines.
* A sound working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
* Good geographic knowledge of UK.
* Time management is essential.
* The ability to recognise and escalate issues and seek assistance where necessary.
* Understanding of working to deadlines and able to work under pressure to deliver on multiple fronts.

Salary of £22,308 per annum.
