Job Description:
Environmental Compliance Administrator from the Company Challenge Packaging Limited, located in Hailsham, United Kingdom. This job opening is open to job seekers with a graduate GCSE.
Job Responsibility:
Overview: Challenge Packaging is a specialist in corrugated packaging design and manufacture & packaging distribution. We work hard to ensure our cardboard box supply is as efficient as possible and extend that methodology into packaging supplies to offer a full service to our customers.
Duties:
1. Assist the leadership team to develop, manage and monitor performance of the site and supplier compliance.
2. Preparation for and assistance with all internal and external audits (BRCGS, ethical, customer etc).
3. Assist in the management of internal and external audit non-conformances.
4. Responsible for site processes and procedures to ensure the company maintains its accreditations (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, BRCGS, FSC & PAS2060).
5. Manage and liaise with QHSE auditors to acquire/maintain Company's accreditations.
6. Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying issues and implementing improvements in collaboration with process manager.
7. Complete QA/Technical based queries from internal and external requests.
8. Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
9. Maintain awareness of evolving industry compliance regulations and best practices and how they could be applied to the company's operations.
10. Conduct compliance refreshers training courses using internal and external resources when required.
11. Produce further analysis and reports as may be required by the Directors, or HPI management from time to time.
12. Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
13. Liaise with external bodies to be aware of changing industry requirements.
14. Ensure action plans, targets and deadlines are issued where gaps are identified through the audit process to ensure compliance.
15. Responsible for all compliance Manuals and periodic revision/updates.
16. Monitor and support business processes to ensure compliance in areas including hygiene and an efficient and compliant work environment.
17. Author controlled documents & business policies.
18. Liaise with external IT provider on any IT issues raised and manage with each line manager.
19. Administer internal MIS (PKG3000) requests with each line manager and software provider.
20. Maintain relevant ethical documentation, including modern slavery.
