The Role:
We invite you to be part of our Consultant Psychiatrist team, where your leadership will drive the mental health care provision.
The main purpose of this role is to provide high quality care for patients referred to the hospital and work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that clients receive a holistic and person-centric care and treatment programme based on the recovery model.
This is an employed post to take consultant responsibility for general psychiatry and addiction patients coming to the hospital from referrals from the NHS and private (self-funding and Private Medical Insurance (PMI)).

Key Responsibilities:
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering patient care while also contributing to team leadership and service development. You will be responsible for:
1. Performing comprehensive assessments and developing treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
2. Leading ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, and care reviews.
3. Overseeing clinical management of complex cases, particularly those involving risk or challenging behaviour.
4. Supporting patients and families through treatment decisions, relapse prevention, and recovery pathways.
5. Providing mentorship, supervision, and support to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
6. Driving quality improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and national standards.
7. Collaborating with site leadership to ensure efficient service delivery and patient satisfaction.
