To play a key role in supporting the delivery of customer service excellence through the effective coordination of works planning, both directly and via the planning team to include but not limited to Delivering team goals through effective stock management, job planning and performance to plan monitoring Effective site team, haulier and customer communication. Working as part of the planning team ensure process safety, regulatory compliance and have an ongoing and active consideration of continuous improvement. Support the Senior Planner and site management in the achievement of inventory control objectives and service and delivery requirements Flagg up and/or addressing any issues as they arise. Ensure the effective distribution and communication of the daily/weekly plan, and any changes to the plan, across the business Provide holiday cover for other team functions once trained to do so. Duties and Responsibilities Update external 3rd Party systems for orders / consignments being collected from Irlam Generate and distribute Picking Lists for orders / consignments Ensure accuracy of stock and stock levels for daily consignments. To support administration requirements for Customs clearance Generation of works orders for bulk and drum products Liaise with accounts for invoice and credit information Add incoming and outgoing orders to booking in schedule Communicate with Laboratory with regards to Certificate of Analysis requests and as per instructions on picking lists. Process and complete works orders on both Sage and Mfour (as required) and follow related returns procedure for both. To process drum and packaging receipts into Irlam, liaising with Site Management regarding any anomalies, including damaged goods. To ensure locations are utilised for all stock stored in warehouses. General Support Duties To work alongside other members of the planning team as well as the Weighbridge team to provide help and assistance when resource / cover is required. To assist Multisol management with any projects or tasks, as reasonably required. To undertake general office admin duties such as copying, filing, handling queries, correspondence, monthly reports, etc., as required. To communicate any issues, problems, errors etc, to Site management. To undertake any other duties commensurate with your Job Title.
