Job Description
3. Handle the credit control process, including the collection of payments and debts.
4. Conduct credit checks on potential clients and customers.
5. Manage customer queries relating to payments and invoices.
6. Ensure the company's financial risk is minimised by managing and controlling credit.
7. Communicate effectively with the accounting and finance team regarding any credit-related issues.
8. Prepare and present reports on the company's credit situation.
9. Work closely with sales teams to establish credit terms and conditions.
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and guidelines.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. An academic background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
12. Proven experience in a credit control role within the industrial / manufacturing industry.
13. Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
15. A solid understanding of financial regulations and guidelines.
