The Role: As our Lead Personal Development Tutor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a dynamic Personal Development Programme (BPC Grow) that supports students to develop confidence, resilience and enables their progression planning. In addition, you will line manage a team of Personal Development Tutors. Liaising closely with the cross college Personal Development Manager to ensure consistency of delivery and share best practice. Responsibilities as our Lead Personal Development Tutor : Line managing and mentoring a team of Personal Development Tutors, to include providing strong leadership, guidance, and support, fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous professional development. Building and developing the Personal Development Programme (BPC Grow) to ensure it develops students’ skills, aspirations, confidence and resilience. Quality assuring the development and creation of the content for BPC Grow. This includes creating materials to be delivered to students including those on Education Programmes for Young People and Apprenticeships, HE and Adults. Conducting regular reviews of Personal Development Tutors, set objectives, and provide feedback and professional development opportunities to team members Ensuring robust systems and processes are in place and followed, to ensure attendance on the Personal Development Programme (BPC Grow) is at the expected level Providing cover for the Personal Development Tutors where required Supporting the Personal Development Manager in allocating the required caseload.
