Key Responsibilities Working in our supply chain operation is fast paced as we aim to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time for our customers. On a day-to-day basis, you'll be responsible for: - Ensuring Health and Safety and all legislative and operational procedures are adhered to. - Keeping the operation working smoothly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing these with you team. - Leading and developing a high performing team, acting as a role model for the Partnership. - Making sure all Partners are treated fairly and respectfully. - Supporting the wider teams within your site when required, including deputising for the Warehouse Shift Manager in their absence. - Managing the entire site in the absence of the General Manager and Warehouse Operations Manager. Essential skills you'll need - PC and numerically literate. - Senior management experience (managing large teams preferable in a FMCG company). - Experience working in a management role in Distribution/Warehouse environment with knowledge of working with warehouse management systems. - Extensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislations. - Experience of dealing with full disciplinary procedures according to ACAS guidelines.
